• Briefing: Before your expedition, you will have a briefing at your hotel or our office with your guide and other participants in your group.
• Transportation: From your hotel in Huaraz to the starting point of the trek, and from the end of the trek to your hotel in Huaraz.
• Equipment: We use the best quality mountain tents (2 people per tent) and personal mat.
• Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner (option for vegetarians or vegans).
• All kitchen and dining equipment are provided so that clients to enjoy their meals, including chairs and dishes.

1. Where do the expeditions start and end?

The expeditions start and end in the city of Huaraz - Ancash.

2. How to get to Huaraz?

By air:

Anta Airport (ATA, Comandante FAP Germán Arias Graziani Airport) is currently only for domestic flights, so all international travelers by air must disembark in Lima and go through customs.

• The best way to get to Huaraz is by air, currently there is only one airline operating: LATAM.
• Flight time: 1 hour 10 minutes.
By land:

This is the most common route, with a paved road of 404 km from Lima. Try to book the bus cama service for a more comfortable journey and rest during the trip.

• We recommend the following companies: CIVA, Movil Bus, Cruz del Sur, Julio Cesar, Linea.
• Travel time by bus: 8 hours.

3. What is the recommended season for expedition in Peru?

The recommended months for the Cordillera Blanca are from June to September.

4. How many people can a Mountain Guide take?

The maximum number of clients per guide depends on the technical difficulty and the client's technical preparation, and should not exceed 3 clients per guide.

5. Group Tours

In group expeditions, you will enjoy the company of people of different ages and hiking experiences. By accepting a group tour, we understand that each person has their own pace, so don't worry if you are slower or faster than others. The guide will adapt to the group and ensure that everyone enjoys the expedition.

6. What to bring for hiking?

• ESSENTIAL:Daypack (recommended 30L to 50L), Water bottle or Camelbak, Hiking boots, Mountain pants and jacket, Sun hat, Wool hat, Waterproof jacket, Headlamp, etc.
• TOILETRIES: Sunscreen, Moisturizer, Insect repellent, Hand sanitizer, Wet wipes, Toothbrush and paste, Toilet paper, Personal medication, Blister protectors, etc.

7. Is it possible to rent climbing equipment in Huaraz?

8. Do you organize transfers/pickups from the airport?

10. How likely is it to suffer from altitude sickness during the hike?
