Itinerario


DAY 01: HUARAZ - LAKE PARON - HUARAZ

  • After picking you up from your hotel or designated meeting point, we will depart at 7:30 AM heading north from Huaraz. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the Cordillera Blanca and the charming villages of the Callejón de Huaylas.
  • First stop: Just outside the city of Caraz, where you can purchase essential provisions like water and snacks for the lagoon visit. This is also a great time to reserve lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Second stop: At Laguna Parón, where we will take a short hike to the viewpoint. Here, you can capture classic photographs or simply take in the breathtaking views of the lagoon and surrounding mountains.
  • Optional: Kayak ride (not included).
  • Lunch: At a local tourist restaurant, with an average cost of S/30 (not included).
  • We will return to Huaraz by 6:30 PM, concluding the tour.

  1. What should I bring?

    • Light clothing for the day and warm layers for the morning/evening.
    • Waterproof jacket or poncho (october to april).
    • Trekking or sport shoes.
    • Sun protection: sunscreen, cap or hat, sunglasses.
    • Snacks and water.
    • Extra money for personal expenses.

  2. How far in advance should I book the program?

    3. We recommend booking at least 24 hours before the departure date. However, availability is limited and subject to change, so it’s best to book as early as possible.

  3. What is the group size for the tour?

  4. What is the best season to do the tour?

    5. The ideal season is from May to October. However, the hike can be done year-round; you only need to bring waterproof clothing to protect yourself from the rain.

  5. Where do the tour start and end?

    6. The hike start and end in the city of Huaraz - Ancash.

  6. How to get to Huaraz?

    7. By air: Anta Airport (ATA, Comandante FAP Germán Arias Graziani Airport) is currently only for domestic flights, so all international travelers by air must disembark in Lima and go through customs.

    • The best way to get to Huaraz is by air, currently there is only one airline operating: LATAM.
    • Flight time: 1 hour 10 minutes.

    By land: This is the most common route, with a paved road of 404 km from Lima. Try to book the bus cama service for a more comfortable journey and rest during the trip.

  7. Do you organize transfers/pickups from the airport?

    8. We organize transfers in Lima, Huaraz, and other cities in Peru; we also offer tailor-made tourist packages throughout Peru. If you prefer a more personalized service, please write to us at the following email peru-adventures@outlook.com.
