Air: Jorge Chávez International Airport is situated 16km northwest of Lima. Services and facilities include information desks, post office, telecommunications, banks, moneychangers, left-luggage, medical facilities and restaurants.

Passports and Visas: A passport that is valid for 6 months is required to enter Peru. Many tourists are granted tourist visas for either 90 or 183 days upon arrival but please check with your embassy for specific requirements.
National:
Airport Transfers
For your safety, we utilize our own taxi driver in Lima to pick up clients from the airport upon request and ensure they are delivered safely to their hotel, bus station, or desired destination. The journey from the airport to the city center typically takes about 45 minutes, although heavy traffic in Lima can often cause delays.

Transport from Lima to Huaraz
There are several bus companies that operate between Lima and Huaraz. Three of the most frequently used companies are
CIVA,
Cruz Del Sur and
Movil Bus.
- Services: Several buses daily including night buses.
- Prices: Range from 50 Soles for Economy class to 150 for VIP class with 180° reclining seats.
- Journey time: 8 hours
The airline,
LATAM flies once daily between Lima and Huaraz, The flight takes 1 hour 10 minutes and costs around USD 90 for a round trip.
Huaraz
Local Transport
Huaraz is easy to negotiate on foot but should you require a taxi they are cheap and plentiful. Fares around town are between 5 - 7.00 Soles. Always establish the fare beforehand and never allow anyone else to get into the taxi with you.
