International
Land: There is no central bus terminal in Lima. Each bus company has its own station. Buses are of good quality and tickets are very reasonably priced. Two of the major companies are:
Ormeño www.grupo-ormeno.com.pe (Operates in most countries in South America)
Cruz del Sur www.cruzdelsur.com.pe (Operates between Lima and Buenos Aires / Lima and Santiago de Chile / Lima and Bogota and to all major destinations in Peru) Please take care in the areas around the bus stations.

Air: Lima airport (Jorge Chavez) is situated 16km northwest of Lima. Services and facilities include information desks, post office, telecommunications, banks, moneychangers, left-luggage, medical facilities and restaurants.
Website: www.lima-airport.com Lima airport recommends allowing three hours check-in time for international flights and two hours for national flights.

Passports and Visas: A passport that is valid for 6 months is required to enter Peru. Many tourists are granted tourist visas for either 90 or 183 days upon arrival but please check with your embassy for specific requirements.

National
Airport Transfers
For your safety, we use our own taxi driver in Lima to pick-up clients from the airport at their request and deliver them safely to their hotel, bus station or desired destination. From the airport to the centre and would take about 45 minutes. Heavy traffic in Lima can often cause delays.

We can arrange hotel accommodation for you according to your wishes. There are a variety of hostels and hotels in Lima to suit all needs.

Transport from Lima to Huaraz
There are several bus companies that operate between Lima and Huaraz. Three of the most frequently used companies are Oltursa, Cruz Del Sur and Movil Tours. We can make reservations or purchase seats for you in advance. We offer a free pick-up service from the bus stations in Huaraz.
The airline, LC Peru flies once daily between Lima and Huaraz, The flight takes 1 hour 10 minutes and costs around U.S. $120 for a round trip.

Huaraz
Local Transport
Huaraz is easy to negotiate on foot but should you require a taxi they are cheap and plentiful. Fares around town are between 4 - 5.00 Nuevo Soles. Always establish the fare beforehand and never allow anyone else to get into the taxi with you.
